ADVERTISING DISCLAIMER REGARDING PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS AND DISPLAYS

   By participating in the Chicago Steppers Homecoming event, all organizations and individuals who bring or ship promotional materials, including but not limited to flyers, banners, pop-up displays, retractable signage, and other marketing items, acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Responsibility for Materials:   

 All promotional items and displays are the sole responsibility of the organization or individual that owns them. The event promoter and event staff assume no responsibility for the receipt, handling, storage, set-up, security, or return of any such materials.

Permitted Advertising Materials: 

   Only Steppin’-related advertising materials are allowed. All other types of promotional content must receive prior written approval from the event promoter. To request approval, please contact the promoter directly via email before shipping or displaying any non-Steppin’ materials.

Shipping and Handling Fees:

   Any materials shipped to the hotel or event venue are subject to applicable fees imposed by the venue or third-party carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS). The promoter will not accept or be responsible for any charges associated with shipping, delivery, or handling. Organizations are strongly advised to coordinate directly with the hotel regarding shipping procedures and costs.

On-Site Set-Up and Removal:

   Each participant is solely responsible for setting up and removing their materials. All items must be removed from the event space by the conclusion of the event. Any items left behind will be considered abandoned and may be discarded at the discretion of the venue or promoter without further notice.

Lost or Forgotten Items:

   The promoter is not responsible for tracking, storing, or returning any lost, misplaced, or forgotten items. Retrieval of such items, if available, is the sole responsibility of the owner and must be coordinated directly with the venue.

By attending or participating in the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this disclaimer.
