THE CHICAGO HOMECOMING WEEK

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

In 1963, America witnessed the historic March on Washington. In 1995, we witnessed the extraordinary gathering known as the Million Man March.

Now, in 2027, we are preparing to create an unprecedented gathering of our own: The Ten Thousand Steppers March to the Chicago Homecoming Week.

From Tuesday, August 31 through Sunday, September 5, 2027, we are inviting Chicago Steppers, Boppers, Walkers, Line Dancers, and supporters of the culture from across America and around the world to come together in Chicago for an unforgettable week-long celebration.

Chicago is recognized as the birthplace and home of the rich traditions of Chicago Bopping, Chicago Stepping, and Chicago Walking, and this celebration will honor that legacy while bringing together the many communities and generations who continue to carry the culture forward.

Guests who stay a minimum of two nights at the host hotel will receive two complimentary All Access Passes. That's two All Access Passes simply for staying at the host hotel for the required minimum stay.
